many sites are in black out right now for another 10 hours or so.
That's cos their in protest don'tcha know. You might wanna check this out if you haven't seen it:
If you're reading this from the future then it used to be a working youtube link! Doesn't work now though because youtube got taken down.
Then again if youtube's been taken down due to it's copyright infringements then you won't be reading this becuase deviantART will have definitely been taken down.
Why is deviantART not protesting? Yes we all want protection for our content but do you really think this is about the little people? This will cripple creativity on the internet.
If you're american, contact
congress or your local representative, they probably have no clue what is at risk.

Contact the State DepartmentI will add though, just signing a petition doesn't solve it, spread the word, tweet stuff, make videos, blogs, whatever. Afterall it's your freedom of expression that is ultimately at stake here.
